Norðurglóð is one of the most active jazz bands on the Faroese music scene and a central project of renowned Faroese bassist Arnold Ludvig.
The band mainly performs Arnold’s original compositions, along with works by other members. Their sound is rooted in jazz, yet open to influences from various genres – always leaving room for improvisation and musical experimentation.
