Prof. Artūras Anusauskas – jazz pianist, composer, arranger, head of the LMTA Jazz Department. Participant of international jazz festivals in Bucharest, Birštonas, Kaunas, Vilnius, Klaipėda, Luxembourg, Montreux, Minsk, Kiev, Vitebsk, Chisinau and others. The pianist has given many solo piano music concerts, performed with the State Symphony, Kaunas Symphony, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater Symphony and Lithuanian Chamber Orchestras. Major concerts: in Stockholm, Rovigo, Moscow, Brussels, Krasnodar, Chisinau, Gdansk, Erfurt, Warsaw, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, Beijing and other cities. . 1994 The A. Anusauskas Jazz Quintet won the grand prize of the Birštonas Festival. – Winner of the Leipzig International Improvisation Competition, 2005 awarded the “Golden Disc” prize of the Lithuanian Musicians’ Union for outstanding artistic activity in recent years.
