The collective of highly professional musicians who share love and passion for a Main Stream Jazz music, particularly the Hard Bob.

Rhythm Section:
Madars Kalnins – Keyboards
A graduate of Latvian Music Academy (Master’s degree) multitalented and versatile musician.
Artjom also composes and arranges his own pieces, which, as he himself admits, is a very important process that allows an artist to grow and develop new ideas.

Norberts Skraucis – Double bass
Plays electric bass and double bass on a professional stage for more than 20 years. Regularly cooperates with leading professional musicians and compositions of various styles both in Latvia and abroad.

Vlad Zelkin – Drums / Percussion
A seasoned jazz veteran, residing in US since 1978, where he has regularly performed with various world class jazz and R&B musicians. Vlad has performed at the first Detroit – Montreaus Jazz Festival.

Woodwind & Brasswind:

Indrikis Veitners – Tenor Sax / Clarinet
Virtuoso saxophonist and clarinetist, jazz educator, jazz historian and head of the jazz department of the Latvian Music Academy. He has been regularly recording and performing with the well-known Latvian musicians such as Raimonds Raubishko, Uldis Marhilevichs, Raimonds Macatsm, Deniss Pashksvich and many others.
Lauris Amantovs – Trombone
Extremely talented, creative and one of the most prominent musician of the new generation. His musical backgrounds are Jazz Department of Klaipeda University (Lithuania), master classes with the greats – Peter Herbolzheimer and Jiggs Wigham. He is also a laureate of various performing arts contests. Moreover, he is an initiator and founder of different jazz bands – West Coast Band, Riga Cool Quintet, Mirage Jazz Orchestra, Mirage Octet and his Quartet.
Normunds Piesis – Trumpet / Flugelhorn
Normunds is our latest addition. Graduate of Latvian Music Academy (Jazz Faculty) Normunds has been a versatile trumpet player, recording artist, session musician, educator, arranger and the list goes on….
