Dear summer jazz lovers,
Though we started the festival a decade ago, today it is certainly
too early to measure the chords sounded, the musicians met, the number
of concerts held on the stage of Nida Jazz Marathon. Because ten years
is just the beginning.
Looking at the horizon of Nida, today we see not only the spatter
of waves, the heat of dreams and the summer, but also the jazz rainbow
coloring the sky, which we call Nida Jazz Marathon.
By presenting you the ambitious young musicians and the leading
figures of Lithuanian jazz scene, the guests from Sweden, Latvia and
France, we believe that Nida Jazz Marathon 2010 will bring several days
of flight, improvisation and Ö simply the joy of the getting-together.
Wishing this I invite you to dive into the waves of summer jazz once
again.
